Health Mate™ MDA
Indication of individual health conditions
Checking medicinal effects of medical treatment and ingestion of antioxidant foods문
What is the purpose of test?
Test strips for monitoring Free Radicals level by detection of semi-quantitative MDA (Malondialdehyde) amount
HEALTH MATE™ Keto-Slim
Test strips for monitoring Ketones (Ketosis).
Check how your diet is working by amount of fat-burning.
What is Ketones?
When body fat is used up, it ultimately breaks down into compounds called "Ketone Bodies."
Why do you need to check Ketone level?
The more Ketones you release, the more fat you will have dissolved. Some diet plans try to keep the dieter in the moderate range so the dieter can chart his/her progress. If the amount of Ketones generated becomes too large, they can add more carbohydrates; if the amount becomes too small, they can cut back on carbohydrates.
HEALTH MATE™ Uric Acid
Test strips for monitoring Uric Acid amount level
What is Uric Acid?
Uric acid is a chemical that's produced during the digestion of certain foods and the natural breakdown of cells in the body.
An increased amount of uric acid in the urine often indicates gout , which is a common form of arthritis.
Why do you need to check Uric Acid level?
This test may be done to help determine the cause of a high uric acid level in the blood.
It may also be done to monitor people with gout, and to choose the best medicine to lower the uric acid level in the blood.
Uric acid is a chemical created when the body breaks down substances called purines. Most uric acid dissolves in blood and travels to the kidneys, where it passes out in urine. If your body produces too much uric acid or does not remove enough of it, you may get sick. A high level of uric acid in the body is called hyperuricemia and it can lead to gout or kidney damage.
This test may also be done to check whether a high uric acid level is causing kidney stones.
HEALTH MATE™ Vaginal pH
Test strips for monitoring the acidity of female vaginal environment
Why should you do this Vaginal pH test ?
You should do this test to help evaluate if your vaginal symptoms (i.e., itching, burning, unpleasant odor, or unusual discharge) are likely caused by an infection that needs medical treatment. The test is not intended for HIV, chlamydia, herpes, gonorrhea, syphilis, or group B streptococcus.
Abnormal Results
Abnormal vaginal pH may be higher or lower than normal vaginal pH. High vaginal pH numbers indicate less acidity, while lower than normal vaginal pH levels indicate high acidity.
Abnormal vaginal pH frequently indicates the presence of a vaginal infection. However, you should know that not all vaginal infections cause changes to vaginal pH.
This means that having a normal vaginal pH test does not necessarily mean that you do not have a vaginal infection. If your vaginal pH is above normal, the most likely reason is that you have bacterial vaginosis (BV) and not a yeast infection. In this case, don't use OTC medications for vaginal yeast infections, because the medication will not treat your BV. Instead, you'll need to see your doctor for diagnosis and treatment.
On the other hand, if your vaginal pH is normal or below normal and you've had previous vaginal yeast infections diagnosed by a doctor, you can try one of the OTC medications for vaginal yeast infections. If this does not cure your vaginal symptoms or infection, see your doctor for the appropriate diagnosis and treatment. salt-losing nephropathy (Bartter syndrome)
HEALTH MATE™ Calcium
Test strips for detection of Calcium amount
What is Calcium?
Calcium is perhaps the most essential nutrient when it comes to bone health.
Building strong bones is like building a healthy balance in your “calcium bank account.”
Bones are living tissue and constantly in a state of turnover, making calcium deposits and withdrawals daily.
Bones don't come with a lifetime guarantee. They need continuous maintenance or they can weaken and break.
If your diet is low in calcium, your body will take calcium from your bones to keep blood calcium at normal levels.
Why do you need to check Calcium level?
Decide on the best treatment for the most common type of kidney stone, which is made of calcium.
This type of stone may occur when the kidney leaks too much calcium into the urine.
Monitor someone who has a problem with the parathyroid gland, which helps control calcium levels in the blood and urine.
Help diagnose the cause of problems with your blood calcium level or bones.
HEALTH MATE™ Salinity
본문 Test strips for detection of salinity amount in urine
Why you need to check Salinity level?
A small amount of salt is important for good health as it helps to maintain the correct volume of circulating blood and tissue fluids in the body.
But, too much salt can cause high bold pressure and many other health conditions.
Reducing the amount of salt you have will lower high blood pressure-the extent depends on your age, current blood pressure and other factors such as the amount of exercise you do, body weight, stress and alcohol intake.
Finally, salinity test can find out whether you have eat adequate amount of salt or not, and it is can help to control your food habit.
Abnormal Results
Low levels of sodium in your urine may indicate kidney problems.
Symptoms include:
Fatigue, nausea and vomiting, headache, loss of appetite, confusion or disorientation, hallucinations, loss of consciousness or coma
The causes of low sodium in the urine are most likely:
Diarrhea, excessive sweating, kidney damage (e.g., glomerulonephritis, hepatorenal syndrome, kidney failure), cirrhosis of the liver high levels of the hormone, aldosterone, congestive heart failure
High levels of sodium in the urine may be due to diet, kidney problems, or hypernatremia.
Symptoms include:
Thirst, fatigue, swelling in hands and feet weakness, Insomnia, rapid heartbeat, coma
The causes of high sodium in the urine may be:
high-sodium diet, certain medications, such as diuretics, problems with adrenal gland function
salt-losing nephropathy (Bartter syndrome)
HEALTH MATE™ Nitric Oxide test
Saliva Test strip for monitoring nitric oxide level
What is the purpose of test?
Saliva Test strip for monitoring nitric oxide level
What is Nitric Oxide?
Nitric oxide is a naturally produced factor along the blood stream walls (endothelium).
It is a cardio-protective factor that promotes vascular wellness and better performance from the same amount of oxygen use.
To promote vascular health for longevity, disease protection and performance you can now self-check your nitric oxide status.
Each of us have different needs based on cardiovascular stressors, genetic factors or the goal of increased performance.
Nitric oxide will rise and fall throughout the day, therefore, the challenge is to maintain a steady elevated state by incorporating plant-based foods into your diet.
Why do you need to check Nitric Oxide level?
Nitric Oxide is a gaseous signalling molecule of the human body, and also one hell of a powerful vasodilator.
You can increase the level of nitric oxide in your body by exercising and taking L-arginine supplements or food.
And because of the fact that it enhances circulation all around the human body, nitric oxide boosters are generously used as pre-workout supplements among athletes that could benefit from increased circulation in their choice of sport.
Therefore, you can use our test strip for monitoring your body's Nitric Oxide status and stay healthy.
Your goal is to maintain an “Best".
HEALTH MATE™ Nicotine
Test strips for checking tabacco use
What is the purpose of test?
Test strips for detection of Nicotine / Cotinine metabolite amount which will determine whether a person has been exposed to tobacco smoke.
Why do you need to check Nicotine level?
Nicotine, or its primary metabolite cotinine, is most often tested to evaluate tobacco use.
Long-term smoking of tobacco products can increase the risk of developing many diseases including lung cancer, COPD, stroke, heart disease, and respiratory infections.
Long-term tobacco use can also exacerbate asthma and help promote blood clot formation.
In pregnant women, smoking can impair growth of the developing baby and lead to low birth weight babies.
Simplicity, security, and durability for water testing
What is the purpose of test?
Test strip for drinking water quality
Measuring Item
pH
Measurement of the hydrogen ion(acid) concentration in water.
Total Alkalinity
Measurement needed to determine corrosivity.
Glutaraldehyde
Glutaraldehyde is not normally found in urine.
Adulterants such as UrinAid and Clear Choice contain glutaraldehyde which may cause false negative screening results by disrupting the enzyme used in some immunoassay tests.
Total, Free Chlorine
Check a disinfectant added to reduce or eliminate microorganisms such as bacteria and viruses.
Total Hardness
Help to determine the need for water softening.
Test strip for checking foreign substances added directly to a urine specimen to prevent the detection of drug use
Why is the Urine Adulteration Test performed?
People try to undermine their drug tests by adding adulterants to their urine specimens.
Several adulterants can cause false negative results in drug tests by interfering with the screening immunoassays.
Result Interpretation
Creatinine
Low creatinine levels may indicate dilute urine.
The absence of creatinine (‹20 mg/dl) is indicative of a specimen not consistent with human urine.
Nitrite
tests for commonly used commercial adulterants such as "Klear" or "Whizzies".
They work by oxidizing the major cannabinoid (marijuana) metabolite THC COOH².
Normal urine should contain no trace of nitrites.
Positive results generally indicate the presence of an adulterant.
Glutaraldehyde
Glutaraldehyde is not normally found in urine.
Adulterants such as UrinAid and Clear Choice contain glutaraldehyde which may cause false negative screening results by disrupting the enzyme used in some immunoassay tests.
pH
Normal pH levels should be in the range of 4.0 to 9.0. Values outside of this range may indicate sample tampering.
Specific Gravity
Values outside the normal range of 1.005 to 1.025 may be the result of specimen dilution or adulteration.
Bleach
Normal human urine should not contain Bleach.
PCC
Normal human urine should not contain PCC.
